Why My Family & Community are so Important

I'm very fortunate to have wonderful family and friends in my life. My wife, Diana, is a bedrock of strength and motivation for me. Through ups and downs she is a positive guiding light in all I do. My son, Grant, is a Ph.D Candidate at Western University. Having lost both my parents, I continue to be humbled by the sizable contribution each made over their lives to helping community in a variety of ways. My mother volunteered for 16 years with hospice, helping families in the most difficult of circumstances. My father, who tragically lost his life to Alzheimers, proudly served the Canadian public through the RCMP,  Immigration Canada, and as a community advocate to protect farmland. Serving and helping others is something I'm proud to have grown up with and learned from.

I greatly appreciate the support of many friends, family and collegues, in my quest to beomce a city councilor and serve the people of Richmond, metro vancouver and Canada.

Like you, I'm part or our community and will advocate on city council for the issues that are important to all of us!
