Candidate, Richmond City Council
2022
As part of the RITE team, Jerome garnered just under 9000 votes from residents in the 2022 Richmond Municipal Election. He was happy to see Carol Day be re-elected for the 3rd time, Michael Wolfe be re-elected for the 2nd time, and Laura Gilanders be elected to council. A special thanks to John Roston for an excellent campign for Mayor of Richmond.
Candidate, Richmond City Council
2014
As an independent candidate, not running as part of a team, Jerome garnered just under 4708 votes (20th) from residents in the 2014 Richmond Municipal Election. He was able to bring attention to several key issues important to voters, including smart growth for housing and devlopment, excessive property taxation, transportation issues, and airport noise concerns of local residents. He advocated for a cultural action plan and term limited for city councilors.
Candidate, BC Green Party
2013
As a BC Green Party Candidate for the 40th B.C. Provincial Election, held on May 14, 2013, Jerome garnered 1899 (8.10%) from residents in the Richmond-Steveston Riding. On a very small budget, he was able to build a very visible campaign with many volunteers and a campaign HQ office in Steveston. He advocated for environmental advocacy, social justice and sustainable economics. through involvement in the Provincial Council, Jerome helped the party build momentum which supported the historical election of multiple BC Green MLA's.
